Mercury Telluride, Granules, 99.999%, 3 mm -12 mm

Mercury Telluride is a II-VI semiconductor used as a base material for infrared detectors and as a topological insulator in quantum electronics.

HgTe targets are utilized in sputtering processes to deposit thin films for the fabrication of infrared sensing devices and heterostructure electronics.

Used in the development of far-infrared and mid-infrared photodetectors due to its narrow bandgap and high carrier mobility.
