Silicon Chloride

Silicon tetrachloride is a critical precursor used in the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process to produce high-purity epitaxial silicon layers and polysilicon for semiconductor wafers.

Used as a primary raw material in the manufacture of high-purity synthetic silica (SiO2) for optical fibers and specialized optical coatings via vapor phase oxidation.
