Silver Indium Sulfide, Powder, 99.999%, -180 mesh

Silver Indium Sulfide is utilized as a non-toxic, I-III-VI2 semiconductor material for solar cells, photodetectors, and light-emitting diodes due to its tunable bandgap and high absorption coefficient.

Used as a ternary semiconductor material in the fabrication of thin-film photovoltaic devices and as a buffer layer in heterojunction solar cells.

Synthesized as quantum dots or nanocrystals for use in bio-imaging and photocatalysis due to its low toxicity compared to cadmium-based chalcogenides.

AgInS2 targets are used in physical vapor deposition processes to create stoichiometric thin films for advanced optical and electronic device layers.
