Dysprosium Boride, Powder, 99.5%, -325 mesh

Dysprosium boride is utilized in nuclear control rods and neutron shielding due to the high neutron absorption cross-section of dysprosium.

Dysprosium boride is used as a sputtering target material for the deposition of thin films in electronic and magnetic storage applications.

As a hexaboride, it exhibits high hardness and a high melting point, making it suitable for high-temperature refractory environments.
