Erbium Nitrate, Powder, 99.9%, -325 mesh

Used as a precursor for the synthesis of erbium oxide and other erbium-doped materials used in specialized glass and ceramics.

Serves as a dopant source for optical fibers and amplifiers, utilizing the characteristic 1.55 micrometer emission of erbium ions for telecommunications.

Utilized as a soluble precursor in the chemical synthesis of erbium-based nanoparticles and upconversion nanocrystals.
