Europium Sulfide, Powder, 99.99%, -325 mesh approx

Europium Sulfide is used as a sputtering target material for the deposition of thin films in the development of magneto-optical devices and spintronic components due to its ferromagnetic semiconductor properties.

EuS is a rare example of a ferromagnetic semiconductor, utilized in research for spin-polarized electron injection and quantum computing applications.

As a rare earth chalcogenide, EuS is employed in specialized optical and magnetic research involving the unique electronic transitions of the Europium ion.
