Gadolinium, Powder, 99.9%, -325 mesh

Gadolinium metal is used in specialized alloys and as a precursor for gadolinium oxide used in phosphors and ceramic applications.

Gadolinium sputtering targets are utilized to create thin films for magneto-optical data storage and electronic components.

Used as an alloying agent to improve the workability and resistance to high-temperature oxidation of iron, chromium, and related alloys.

High purity gadolinium is used as an evaporation source in physical vapor deposition processes to create magnetic and optical thin films.
