Indium Nitride is a small bandgap semiconductor used in high-frequency transistors and high-efficiency solar cells, often alloyed with GaN.

Used in the fabrication of red and infrared light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and laser diodes due to its narrow direct bandgap.

Indium Nitride targets are used in reactive sputtering processes to deposit thin films for advanced electronic and photonic device layers.
