Potassium Tellurite

Potassium tellurite can be utilized as a precursor or component in the fabrication of specialized tellurite glass sputtering targets for the development of mid-infrared optical thin films.

Used in the preparation of tellurite-based glasses which are applied as optical coatings due to their high refractive index and broad transparency range in the infrared spectrum.
