Ytterbium Nitrate Hydrate, Powder, 99.995%, -100 mesh approx

Used as a precursor for the synthesis of other ytterbium compounds and specialized glass or ceramic materials containing rare earth elements.

Acts as a chemical intermediate in the production of ytterbium-doped materials used for high-refractive index layers and laser-active optical coatings.

Serves as a soluble ytterbium source for the hydrothermal or sol-gel synthesis of ytterbium oxide nanoparticles and doped nanocrystals.
