Scandium, Foil, 99.95%, 105 mm x 105 mm x 0.5 mm

Scandium is utilized as a high-strength alloying element and in the production of scandium oxide for high-intensity discharge lamps and fuel cells.

Scandium is added to aluminum alloys to significantly increase strength, improve weldability, and inhibit grain growth at high temperatures, particularly for aerospace components.

Scandium metal targets are used in physical vapor deposition to create thin films for high-performance electronic and optical components.

High-purity scandium is used as an evaporation source for depositing thin films in the manufacturing of semiconductors and specialized coatings.
