info

Semiconductors

Gold Germanide is widely used as a eutectic alloy for creating low-resistance ohmic contacts to n-type Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) and other III-V compound semiconductor devices.

info

Sputtering

AuGe alloys are fabricated into sputtering targets for the physical vapor deposition of thin-film metallic layers used in microelectronic metallization processes.

info

Evaporation materials

Used as a source material in thermal or e-beam evaporation to deposit precise eutectic compositions for wafer bonding and semiconductor interconnects.
