Lanthanum Strontium Manganite

Lanthanum Strontium Manganite is fabricated into high-purity ceramic sputtering targets for the physical vapor deposition of thin films used in solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) research and magnetic tunnel junctions.

As a mixed-valence rare earth oxide derivative, LSM is widely utilized as a cathode material in solid oxide fuel cells due to its high catalytic activity for oxygen reduction and compatible thermal expansion with zirconia electrolytes.

LSM is processed into thermal spray powders for atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) to create functional ceramic coatings for energy conversion devices.
